We haven’t removed that possibility, it’s still there, but the maximum points are 200 per map.

And you’re right about the computational difficulties because of having too many queries in our servers.

But it’s something that we should think for our future. Specially for advanced users like you.

The big maps are definitely looking better now, but have you removed the ability to manually override the number of points with the n parameter?

I am looking at a big map of all my points tagged as being in the European Union (tag: ‘eu’), and some just aren’t showing up (Barcelona, for example), even if I attempt an override with n=1000, ie:
http://www.tagzania.com/paste/user/kennethmac2000/eu/?n=1000

I can understand that it might be computationally difficult to plot a million different points on a map in real-time, but are these limits of 200 or whatever really necessary?

It defeats the purpose of Tagzania somewhat if you show someone a map of your points and some of the points are missing. :S

Let’s go step by step. Now there are 200 points in the big maps.

The reason for seeing some of your points with the airport icon is because we’ve changed some of them. We’ll soon implement a system to customize every icon.

Also, more out of interest than anything, why do some of my points now show up with airport icons and some don’t? How does Tagzania recognize some of my airport points as airports but not others?

Is there any reason for limiting the default number of points on a map to 10? This seems like an awfully low default value.

The new Tagzania looks *really* good!

However, there seem to be a few problems showing maps with many points:

A couple of examples:
1) http://www.tagzania.com/paste/user/kennethmac2000/airport/
This is showing only a handful of all the points I have defined with the tag ‘airport’.

2) http://www.tagzania.com/paste/user/kennethmac2000/airport+eu/
This should show the points which have both the tag ‘airport’ and the tag ‘eu’, but it is in fact showing nothing.
